In 1971 we built a pasta factory in Jeddah's industrial quarter. The neighborhood grew up around it — and the road running past our gates is known, to this day, as Makarona Street.
Founded in 1971 in the thriving city of Jeddah, Unifood established its roots during the era of industrial boom. We laid the foundation of our pasta factory on what is now known as Makarona Street — a name that perfectly embodies our core offering, congruently given by the neighborhood that grew up around us.
From the very beginning, Unifood embraced an unwavering commitment to excellence and a forward-thinking approach, capitalizing on technological advancements year after year. This dedication paved the way for our rapid growth across every trade segment, enabling us to expand our product range and meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Today, Unifood produces a wide range of food products — Pasta, Cakes, Jellies, Vermicelli, Custards, Icing Sugar, Vanilla Powder, Baking Powder, and much more. Our affiliation with Ayan Holding Group, a purely Saudi-based group of industries spanning construction to retail, has brought abundant efficacy to our overall operations.
